I like old songs.. they're golden. But lately I've been loving jazz.. maybe I got tired of listening to too much hiphop, rnb and pop. I was listening to Ray Charles years ago but I never thought I'd extend my love for coffee music.. it gives me that relaxed feeling when I'm already in warlaloo mode. And you know that feeling like you wanna dance with somebody hehehe kilig! I thought it'd be nice to share it hehehehe... download this album I just bought a week ago.. been listening to it over and over.

Saturday Feb 4 was such a long and tiring day. We did a shoot at One Workshop studio owned by digital photography guru Ross Capili. We started about 2pm and ended at 7. Started with Myca Velarde, the make-up artist. Got a SG connect coz she studied at The Make Up School back there, so I guess she's really good. She said I have an oriental look so she decided to do a geisha touch on me... yes ultra red lipstick! Hehe.. Anyways, changing clothes n styling was so hard- I'm really thankful that my friends Coney and Budang were there. I wouldn't know what to do if they weren't there to help me. Wonderful how Coney did different stuff with the tarha that Misel gave us to make it wearable- really proud of you, my bestfriend! Hehehehe Thanks to Michy Kim and Kat for striking it with me .. And of course to two of the most creative photographers in the country Donjun Somodio and Bok Saguil! Props to you two for these...

Isn't it weird that today couples are easily noticeable like the population of people holding hands doubled from yesterday? Why is it that flowers become extraordinarily annoying? Why is it that our office looks like SM department store with all the crepe papers and heart cut-outs hanging from above every cube? And why is it that I can't seem to be in sync with all that is happening around? Errr... to answer that question my dear self.. That's because you're single stupid!
Yes, it's this time of year when you realize that you haven't been with anyone for the past what? 1, 5, 10, or in my case, 23 years... Yes you are that independent woman/man, free, beautiful and lonely. That no matter how fabulous you may dress today, you aren't the winner. It's the day you ask questions like why don't I have a BF/GF eh OK naman ako. Why does she have flowers and I don't. Wow she has chocolates sarap!!! Hingi ka na lang coz you dont have one. Eh kasi you're single. Bwahahaha!!! And as for me, it's the time of year when I expect a surprise like this ...
..a letter like that and yeah it must come from Dennis Trillo! hahahaha or maybe someone along his line hahaha. But I don't think that's possible when this is how I look like...
Bwahahahaha!!! Enuff of that... So today I thought I really wanted to end all struggles by drowning myself to non-stop love songs. Kai songs wound, Sam Milby murders, Eric Benet stabs and Jay Chou kills. So perfect.
Whoever made pauso of flowers and chocolates and dates on Valentine's Day sucks. It's for St. Valentine in the first place and what he did was write "Remember your Valentine, I love you." to his loved ones when he was imprisoned. So I guess the main point is to say I Love You though you're, like St. Valentine, trapped into life's prison. Flowers and chocolates, dinners and gifts are just grand ways of doing it I guess. So Imma do it simple..

Love is Food. Food is Love. It goes both ways. But I prefer to agree on the later. Yes, Love is food for the soul. Diane, Suy and I got no Love this V-day- hungry souls but oh no.. not our tummies.. So we went and dine out at Burgoo- yeah something like Friday's coz that's where we had our V-day last year and we were in the area when that bus exploded and it shook the hell out of me. And since Suy is into this "F" food review thingie on her blog. I'm obliged to participate.

We ate Chicken Fingers as Diane requested.
The breading is even and the meat is tender. Perfectly no bones or hard parts just as how Chicken Fingers should be. Slices are just right- not too big or bitin. The best part of the dish is the dip. The sour cream dip is smooth and creamy. Not too sour, you can taste the onion flavor- a very good match for chicken.
I have to give it
It was fun being with the girls. We talked about the guys in our lives or the lack thereof. The never ending question of "Bakit sila ganon?(Why are they like that?)" And how we wanted to have a boyfriend but not really. It was all worthwhile, but girls I don't have plans of making it Annual!!! Haha
I love this shot so I have to post it by Donj of course. And yeah it was just taken at the office! (do not post elsewhere, pls credit Donj if you're going to repost! bwahahahah joke lang- ganito kasi sa mga fan sites nakakatawa)

Jana Banana's Bday!

Do you know someone who collects friends? When I think of Friendster.. I think of Jana. She's that one person I know who has tons and tons of friends. She has to do two parties to celebrate with them... I'm just happy to attend one. Last Friday, we had dinner at Grilla at Rockwell for her birthday. I haven't seen Jana for so long and we really haven't talked. Anyways, peeps were there.. the usual gang and Jana's peeps from upper and lower batches. Sikat talaga!

Pao and Wong were there too. I haven't seen them for more than 2 years. It was really good seeing them again. I miss our bugbugan sessions... nothin changed.. they're still the dynamic duo! Except for Wong! He really got thin!!! Ang kulet!
