Food is Good... Friend-talk- Better..

The past days were spent solely on my new team. We had someone from the States to train us with some UNIX stuff and it was exciting coz he's ABC.. He just came from Taiwan, matter of factly, before he went here. He's really a good mentor.. Way better than all other foreign mentors we had in my company. Anyways, so busy busy busy... but it's good that I still can squeeze in time for some of my friends. Well it would be really hard to convince me to go out unless it's really something I'd been wanting. First, schedule is packed and mostly I'm too lazy. But this week was different. It's like...
Friend: Hey, wanna meet up?
Me: Why wuts up? I'm busy...
Friend: Nothin' really... just chill and EAT (ding ding ding)..
Me: Hmmm... (asks details)
Friend: Aight, guess you're really busy.. maybe next time..
Me: No let's GO!
Yeah.. Lately, dining convinced me to drop what I've been doing. I find it weird though. So there was just eating and eating the past week.
Friday, was supposed to meet up with Jo but something came up... so I just had Halo-Halo with Kim and Budang *slurp slurp*.. then went to NSG after.. where I, by elvish powers, met Diane and Jana whom I was supposed to be with in the first place.
Me and my bestfriend Coney.. look how we can change moods instantly with just fries...
Saturday is MK2Crew Day.. went at Vudang's, watched a bunch of F4 concert clips, also lots lots lots of chocolates Misel brought.
No.. we don't like doing the 3 stars and a sun throw...

3am we went off north to have mass at Grotto.. Yeah from South to North.. 2 hour drive.. But food is good so wut the hell... had the place's ghetto food stuff... Sotanghon and Gotto... mouth watering... hot to the stomach! No pics. Too sleepy.
Sunday- sleep day.
Monday- work day. Misel wanted to eat food not found in Saudi Arabia. So before she goes back, she requested for us to eat Jollibee, CA Maki and other stuff. So after work we ate and ate and ate all in 1 night. Good thing it was all on Misel. Hehehe
Jollibee- had Palabok after a looooong time. It's like years since I haven't eaten Jollibee palabok!
Kitaro- they ate Maki... I didn't.. raw fish is ewww... I had apple crumble - so Jap ya think?
Went back to office to get back on mapping shit while they waited at CBTL. Bestfriend Coney called up and said she was at Bubba Gump. So we went, had dessert while she was with her boyfriend Fernando Carillo (bwahahahaha) We enjoyed Jenny's Dream (that's what they call the strawberry dessert) and Choco Chip Sundae too much, we had to be the one to close the place.
Tuesday. I can't believe it. Someone's wanting Jollibee again! Hmmm... yeah you ain't Pinoy if yo hatin' on Jollibee. Kim and I have to go with Jollibee-craving Nyek. I went late so I have to eat my take out at CBTL..
Freakin' camote fries... So fed up.. Almond cake made the day!
Food is good but it's better celebrated with friends plus very amusing conversations. Food is everywhere, but a good talk isn't always there.
Holy Week is up! Imma go for a movie marathon this time. Nyek lend me a comic book called "Blankets." Pretty interesting. So I guess that's how I'll burn time during vacation and yeah contemplate. A LOT.

Break or Break?!

If toxicity is next to Godliness, then I'm a true angel! Thank God for erroneous systems models I get to have a break from all the mapping(that's what I do with programs) and get to update my blog. I dont even have an entry for Holy Week so we'll just leave it as part of history and allow the probability to reminisce about it in my future entries.
"Wuts up? Wuts up?" you say? Just had a break last weekend. The company went to San Juan Batangas to take some time off stressful work. Surprisingly, instead of having that relaxed feeling after errthing I got a lot more tired. Saturday AM.. didn't sleep at all. Have to do a lot of thinking and packing. Set off at 4am. Know why? Coz the company ride leaves at freakin' 5am! And we don't wanna be left don't we?
Slept the whole time going to San Juan Batangas.. 3 hour drive. When we arrived, I was aghast by the sight of kubos and papags. Well, it's ok to just hang there but I mean... I dunno.. I was expecting too much I guess. The beach... here it is.. looks good huh?
Errr... not really... Sand mixed with crushed corals... Water filled with jellyfish as big as your normal platito. My goodness! Plus no snorkling, no jetskiing, no parasailing, no nothing just a walk towards the shore, wet your maglulupa feet and go back to your designated kubo. We were extremely hungry when we got there. Then there were SNACKS! Thank heavens we said! WOW! Carbonara... oohhh.. bacon bits are quantitative but never mind I'm hungry! *Eat-chew* Hmmm.. tastes like CARBO...*chew*..SOPAS! Yes it's CARBOSOPAS... carbonara with the spirit of sopas! Geez.. it's like someone got milk and poured it all over the noodles.. So in the end nobody finished their Carbosopas good. But as they said, "One man's trash is another's treasure!" Yeah.. treasure or maybe like treasure beneath it... They had a good use of the left-over carbosopas! And they're specially for me
It was used for a game I was tasked to represent. Really nice... Sand, carbosopas, sprinkled with worms! In the game, I have to use my mouth and face to dig for the clue beneath the basins. I have to look through each and find my team's envelope(orange) to see the next clue. As I was looking at it, I was thinking if I can do with the worms. I hate crawlers but I set my mind that I can. Can I tolerate the rough feel and taste of the sand? Hmmmm... can too! Carbosopas in my mouth once again? Hmmmm... OK I'll take a walk at the shore first and think about it...
The games were really exciting and fun! It's like Amazing Race-slash-fiesta games. Our team didn't win but we were good I know! Specially me hahaha.. I got our clue easily with just one dive at the basin. Worms were nowhere to be seen coz other contestants who took turns before me set them aside. Sand tastes yuck! But I swear carbosopas is yuckier!
Lunchtime. Food sucks again. Have you ever heard of Lumpiang Repolyo? It's repolyo(cabbage) wrapped within a repolyo. Can you imagine? For my programming friends, it's like LOOP within a LOOP! Got it? Good thing I don't eat veggies!
The whole afternoon was kaburautan to the maximum level! Nothing to do but take pics and take a lot of walking. Boredom at its finest! Good thing I'm with real people with a lot of sense and humor... We had nice kwentuhan(chat) and nice pictures of course!

Trip home was steady. And superlatively tired that at Kristine's Bday Dinner at Bubba I was not talking at all.
Went home and slept... slept.. slept. It's Monday. Sorry Kuya Jay. I was sleeping at your despedida party. So there, outing is tiring. But it was OK. I mean I get the chance to bond with my officemates more. Get them to know me better. After the outing, I say I made connections with my workmates. I know there'll be a lot more of this but I hope next time's better and more fun. No idle moments as much as possible. Great food and all that!
